XFX first got into motherboards with the nForce 590 SLI motherboards. Today they have a lineup of NVIDIA based chipsets including nForce 790i SLI, nForce 780a SLI, and the nForce 750a motherboards which comprise NVIDIA’s lineup sans the nForce 730a and nForce 750i that some manufactures use. Today’s board is based upon the nForce 750a SLI chipset.
The integrated graphics is a bonus that has several benefits over not including one. HybridPower is especially beneficial in this day and age where everyone is trying to save the environment and make the move to a greener PC world.
Feature-wise the nForce 750a board fits the bill with support for 95W TDP CPUs but the 140W 9950 worked without issue during testing of that CPU. Overall this is a solid board; it’s just about in the middle ground of all the boards we have tested as far as features and performance are concerned.
