Groupies following the Nintendo Fusion Tour have a new superstar to watch for. Nintendo’s Wii console is joining the tour to give video game and music fans a chance to play it before it launches in the United States on November 19 at an MSRP of $249.99.
The Nintendo Fusion Tour blends the best of hot new music and the coolest new video games. Starting Sept. 27 at each of the tour’s 35+ stops around the country, multiple Wii consoles will be hooked up and ready to play, along with a variety of hot Nintendo DS games like Elite Beat Agents. Concert attendees can pick up the unique Wii Remote controller and start playing, regardless of their video game experience.
Some of the Wii titles scheduled to make the rounds on the tour include Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Wii Sports, Excite Truck, WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Activision’s Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam.
Hawthorne Heights headlines the 2006 Nintendo Fusion Tour, with support from Relient K, Emery, Plain White T’s and The Sleeping.
