You can’t really go wrong with the VOX V1 caddie. It’s fast, quiet, looks good and cools extremely well. With three different sizes available - 250Gb, 500Gb, 750Gb - there isn’t a whole lot you can ask for when it comes down to purchasing a hard drive caddie:
The VOX really is able to perform extremely well and under our testing the drive remained extremely cool, making us feel confident about storing important data on the drive. While the software isn’t great, the VOX V1 as a portable hard drive caddie is excellent for the purpose of transferring files to and from your desktop or workplace, or even a friends place makes it very handy for quick and easy storage movement. The option of both USB 2.0 and eSATA gives us the versatility we need to plug it into anyone’s machine. The latter really gives us the speed to transfer big files in a reasonable amount of time.
