With the boom in MP3 players, it is now possible to listen to dozens of albums with a flash drive the size of a pack of gum. The ease of use, portability, and cost have all come within the mainstream where someone can listen to music wherever they might go in life without any worries of CDs getting scratched or players skipping. With this portability though also comes the distraction of other sounds around you, whether a busy airport, a gym, or a noisy working environment. Turtle Beach have a product to fit this need with their new noise canceling headphones.
According to Turtle Beach inside of all the ear buds in their headphones are microphones that detect for environmental noise and "subtracts the signal from the sound fed into the ear bud diaphragms."
..Price is the one thing that saves Turtle Beach, definitely you will not find any other noise canceling headphones in this range and in fact a decent pair of headphones can be hard to find though they do exist.
