Thermaltake XWing Bluetooth Wireless Optical Mouse Review

July 26th 2004 | Peripherals

Today I will be looking at the A2149 (blue) version of their new bluetooth mouse and will allow you the reader to have a sneak peak at this small mouse before you flop down your hard earned money. As you will see in the forthcoming pages, this mouse is indeed tiny, easy to use and install and doesn’t do a bad job in the gaming department either.

…Now don’t get me wrong, I know that this mouse is really not suited for everyday extended office use but is more targeted towards laptop users and/or Lanparty gamers that don’t want to drag around the heavier corded version. This package is very small, very light weight and can be considered a small wireless optical version of your everyday run of the mill mouse.

What are my boiled down impressions of this mouse? Well, I really can’t find anything wrong with it. It’s easy to install and setup and has no performance drawbacks that I could see. The only thing I could possibly squeak out as a small downfall could be the US$60-$70 pricetag. To be realistic, the price doesn’t really bother me because an informed consumer will always recognize that a specialty product always comes at a premium price. Tweaknews Top Rank Award
