Watercooling for the PC has come a long way in the past couple of years. Not that long ago, watercooling had a reputation as a mysterious and sometimes dangerous tool of alchemist-like overclockers in the pursuit of free megahertz. Not anymore. While liquid cooling may not be what one would call mainstream, it’s fairly common these days, and kits are available to allow even the novice PC enthusiast to “take the plunge,” as it were.
Thermaltake has recently come out with a product that takes the “kit” approach to the next level. Their Silent Water all-in-one liquid cooling system is a complete CPU solution in a compact, self-contained package that lets the user get into watercooling without all the fuss and bother normally associated with this endeavor.
