Thermalrock has introduced the Mozart to their HTPC line of chassis. Sitting next to Bach, the Mozart comes in two distinct packages, with and without the Media Lab. This optional addition includes a VFD panel, a Thermaltake branded remote control, and the iMEDIAN front end. I have had the pleasure of diving into the Mozart VC4000SNS, the base package without the Media Lab.
The base model Mozart without the VFD is not the best case I’ve done work with. But it certainly is one of the finest looking I have used. Thermaltake has done its best to make an attractive unit that looks at home in the audio rack next to a theatre. Unfortunately, a few large and obvious errors hold it back from being a great case. But its beauty is enough for me to keep it as my HTPCs home for a little longer.
