TechTastic takes a quick look at Thermaltake’s Extreme Spirit North and South Bridge Cooler - this one includes a mini-blower fan with variable speed adjustment:
The north bridge heatsink is made of aluminum and is anodized a blue cooler. To ensure that the kit will be compatible with all motherboards there’s three ways to install the north bridge cooler. The first method uses push pin clips to secure it to the motherboard. The second method uses spring clips for motherboards with an angle near the North Bridge chip. And finally we have SEKISUI tape for the motherboard without mounting holes near the North Bridge chip.
. . . The Extreme Spirit is nice bit of kit and is easy way cool your chipsets. If your north and southbridge chips are running hot, you might want to check out the Extreme Spirit North and South Bridge Cooler. Pros: - Fits all motherboards - Fan controller Cons: -Might not fit with huge CPU Heatsinks. 9/10
