While the Thermaltake Bach was an HTPC case and was horizontally-oriented with a small display on the front, the VX is much more commonplace. The VX has gone vertical and has ditched the display and instead taken on a brushed metal bezel and glossy bay covers. Some of the original styling is still in place, but the VX is a very different case from the first Bach.
..This sort of standard pre-modded steel ATX enclosure is the workhorse of the system building community. This model specifically is not as cheap as it could be, but that is because of the upgraded bezel and a few add-ins, like the external SATA and tool-less features. Every case company has a model like the Bach VX, in fact Thermaltake alone has a few of them, it is really just a matter of picking the features you need and then finding the exterior you prefer.
