The OCZ Core Series 64GB SSD drive is certainly a great product by today’s standards. It is a fast SLC SSD drive and very durable at the same time. The Core Series drives are currently available in capacities ranging from 32GB to 128GB.
The OCZ Core Series are clearly mega performers and the icing on the cake is they cost around half the price of most other manufacturers SSD units. We are certain that other companies will cut down their retail prices in order to compete, but OCZ right now have the market cornered for the best performance to price ratio. The OCZ Core Series SSD drive has other advantages over mechanical HDDs apart from speed. For a start there is better shock resistance (even if the sticker at the bottom of the drive insists otherwise), lower power consumption (1.8W Max), considerably less heat dissipation and greater reliability.
