SOLTEK - New BIOS Versions 1.3 For Soltek SL-75FRN-L & SL-75FRN-RL

Two new BIOS versions dated 02-19-2003 are out for the Soltek SL-75FRN-L and SL-75FRN-RL - make sure you download the right version for your board! A feedback thread has already started over in the Soltek Forum and the word is this release will allow you to lock the AGP or set it manually (cheers to Blatenka, Bork and Adam for the links). Check out the warning note from Radiohead57 below before you update, and remember ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’!

Radiohead57:
A word with regards to flashing the bios on this mobo and plenty of other NF2 mobos currently on the market. Make absolutely sure in the case of the FRN-L that you use the AWD flash 8.23F which is specifically designed for the FRN series of mobos. When the first 1.3 bios hit the web from the China site the wrong flash proggy was included with the zip file containing the 1.3bin, readme and awdflash files.
If the wrong flash proggy is used you may be VERY dissappointed in the results.
