Silverstone SST-30NF Fan-Less PSU Review

I was pretty impressed with this power supply. It’s not a slacker in the power department, and that’s the big thing I was worried about. First and foremost, this is not an Overclocker’s power supply so I’ll not rate it as such. This is easily the best HTPC power supply option out there, and if you’re in search of silence the SST-30NF certainly delivers. The big worry I’d have is that most HTPC chassis are not known for their airflow characteristics, so you’ll have to choose carefully if you want to use this power supply. Another not so good thing is the price…you’re not getting a high watt-to-dollar ratio here. The 30NF goes for about $150.00 USD at the usual Silverstone distributors. EM Recommended!
