Silverstone SG03 Case Review

July 18th 2007 | Cases & Acc.

Overall Silverstone did a remarkable job, with more plusses than minuses. On the positive side, this is one of the most impressive SFF cases we’ve seen considering the size. All pieces are removed intelligently, with a very detailed manual that holds your hand throughout the process. Cooling is always a primary concern when working with limited space, and Silverstone gives you the option of having two 120mm intake fans on the front mesh grill. And best of all, despite the small stature, the SG03 can even accommodate a pair of elongated 8800GTX videocards. Some full towers can’t even do that!

Silverstone has definitely pumped out yet another high quality, eye-catching winner with the SG03. Silverstone’s engineers did some thinking outside-the-box, and the result is a well designed enclosure that maximizes space while not sacrificing performance. The Silverstone SG03 will not disappoint any enthusiast looking for a new small form factor case or anyone, looking for tower-style replacement for a box-style mATX HTPC unit.
