Silentmaxx Fanless 400W ATX PSU review

There are plenty of computer users that are not into extreme overclocking or really don’t need or want to run high end dual GPU setups. Maybe that computer user just wants a very stable and quiet system. And one of those components that contribute to stability and quietness is the power supply. In the quest for those two characteristics, Dave of QuietPC was generous enough to send over one of their Silentmaxx Fanless 400 watt power supply.

..For an overclocker or gamer (large majority of our readers) this power supply just would not do. But for that person that needs a no noise type of system (who wants noise in a HTPC system) this would be a winner. And that is who the Silentmaxx is trying to please. So, I am going to award it the ‘Approved’ trophy for those quiet people.
