Shuttle SN95G5 XPC nForce3 Ultra SFF Review

January 10th 2005 | nForce3

There is an old saying that ‘big things come in small packages’ and today I am going to prove that this certainly is the case with Shuttles latest and only Socket 939 based XPC. The SN95G5 is Shuttle’s only Socket 939 based XPC, which is a bit surprising considering the amount of models in the Intel P4 range. Utilizing the NVIDIA nForce 3 Ultra chipset it is clear straight away that the SN95G5 will pack a great deal of performance under its sexy black exterior. Speaking of exteriors, the SN95G5 is simply beautiful. As you can see from the pictures, it features a brushed black aluminum case which is complimented nicely by the silver detailing. It will certainly demand attention when sitting on any desk.

…The SN95G5 is a fine example as to why Shuttle continues to dominate the Small Form Factor (SFF) market. It is quite easy to say that from appearance to performance, the SN95G5 will please your every need. The SN95G5 is the ultimate AMD64 (939-pin) all rounder XPC. Not only will it make for an excellent gaming machine, but office productivity or digital content will not be a problem either. Finally, I am going to give the Shuttle SN95G5 the “Legion Hardware Performance” award.
