Shuttle SN27P2 SFF Review

July 31st 2006 | nForce 500

With the SN27P2 [Socket AM2, NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra MCP], Shuttle continues what it does best: building quiet, sleek, stylish and high performing small form factor chassis. Although you lose room to expand, almost everyone will get by with one high end video card, the integrated sound and Ethernet.

Right now this is the only SFF system for the AM2 socket, so we can’t compare the SN27P2 to another SFF. All we can say is that despite its size, it packs quite a bit of punch – the SN27P2 was able to keep up with motherboards that were literally bigger than the whole chassis. It has ample cooling, enough expansion for almost every gamer and enthusiast, and a neatly laid out interior with every cable cut to specific lengths. If you’re in the market to build a SFF AM2 system, Shuttle’s SN27P2 would be an excellent choice. 93%.
