SHUTTLE - Shuttle nForce2 IGP: XPC SN41G2 - Any Day Now

December 18th 2002 | Hardware

Fuad Abazovic @ the INQ has news that Shuttle’s nForce2 IGP-based bare-bones system, the XPC SN41G2, will be released “any day now“.

nFHQ heard recently that mass production of Shuttle’s nForce2 XPCs, expected to retail for around $270 - $330 USD (€290 EUR, £190 GBP), aren’t likely until well into January. Apparently, the demand for these near-silent, multi-purpose nF2 cubes is so fierce that Shuttle will be shipping out as many units to the retail market as they are samples for the industry to play around with - I mean ‘evaluate’…

THE KING of bare bones systems is set to announce one more box to fit snugly in the corner of your living room.
These nicely designed small and cute bare bone systems that Shuttle calls XPC will get one more family member.
The Shuttle SN41G2 will be the brand for the new Nforce 2 IGP barebone system that it will release any day now.

We know that the company only considered IGP version of chipset since it prefers systems that have graphics on board even though most of its designs have an AGP slot inside for performance users.
