According to digitimes.com, Shuttle will be launching their much-awaited
nForce2 barebones sytems this month:
Shuttle, the first Taiwanese motherboard company to launch
a mini-barebone system line, posted record monthly shipments of over 30,000 units
and record sales of NT$540 million in November, growing 19% year-on-year, thanks
to the launch of new XPC products.
Shuttle launched two XPC models – based on the 845GE chipset from Intel and
KM266 chipset from VIA Technologies – in November. The company will launch
nForce2-based XPCs in December, which are expected to keep its December shipments
in the 30,000-unit range.
