The Sapphire X800GTO is a single slot cooling solution, the heatsink on the X800GTO is copper with a variable speed style fan that draws air across the core area and out across the memory which doesn’t have heatsinks. This fan is inaudible in 2D and 3D applications yet keeps the core right around 75c during gaming. The X800GTO has one DVI and one VGA plug for dual monitor support. The X800GTO uses external power provided by one molex connector on the rear corner of the card. The X800GTO has S-video, HDTV, and RCA output to TV’s.
The X800GTO performed quite well providing good frame rates and good image quality making this a good choice for gamers who want a lot of bang for their buck. The X800GTO’s 256 megs of memory make high quality gaming possible on midrange prices as well. I would give the Sapphire X800GTO 9 out of 10!
