Calling the new Samsung YP-D1 an MP3 player is actually understating the full glory of a convergence gadget boasting audio and video playback, digital storage, voice recorder and still image capturing capability.

What you do get out of this little gem apart from its main functions are voice recording, digital photo album with slide show function, onboard speakers for jukebox playback, USB storage, video recording, FM radio and TV-output. Considering all these functions are available from a player of such diminutive dimensions, it wouldn’t be inappropriate to classify the Samsung YP-D1 as a portable media player at all.
