The Samsung BD-P1000 being reviewed today is the first Blu-ray player that made its way onto the market in the first quarter of 2007. At that time, this player was selling for the incredible price of US$1000 per unit. Most people have held back……..but they don’t need to hold back any longer. This model being reviewed today can be easily found in online retail channels for US$499 which is a far cry from the initial price set back when it was released.
..As the original released Blu-ray player back in the first quarter of 2007, this player is still on the market and represents an incredible value if someone is in the market to upgrade their DVD player to true high definition. This player has every conceivable feature anyone will need to take full advantage of their HD TV, you will just have to make sure you have the high end hardware to support it. On the other hand, if you do not have a 1080p TV, don’t waste your money on this player quite yet, invest it into the proper TV and sound system upgrade.
