Samsung 940BF 19 Inch LCD display review

While the SyncMaster 940BF does not offer the style or elegance which we have come to expect from Samsung’s LCD monitors, it had a strong showing in this review. Beneath its plain exterior is a solid LCD panel which was able to work well during multimedia playback, gaming, and workstation use.

This display is the right choice for someone who wants a quality 19″ LCD without all the frills. It’s no-nonsense approach to performance is all about the LCD panel and has practically no extras, like an adjustable base or interesting coloring. As a performance LCD, this 940BF does its job well, save for a few minor issues, but it is fine for someone who is demanding of their monitor.
