Saitek makes some great products, not long ago I reviewed the Cyborg Evo Force joystick. The Cyborg would be considered high-end. Today I have what some would consider low end, not cheap but lower priced. I have the Saitek ST90, billed as: ‘The revolutionary foldable stick for professional gamers.’ The Saitek ST90 is a cool looking joystick that anyone can afford and might want to add to their holiday gift list.
I won’t be using the ST90 for FPS games, but for playing flight games it’s great. The Cyborg Evo Force has lots of functions and buttons, but not all are used in all games, especially Apache Longbow Assault and Comanche 4. The ST90 was perfect for those helicopter simulators, it really enhanced game play, and made it a lot more fun actually. All in all I when I don’t want the extras of the Cyborg Evo Force joystick, I will be plugging in the ST90. The ST90 really grows on you after using it for a while. That is why ThinkComputers gives the Saitek ST90 a 9 out of 10!
