Saitek recently released the Eclipse II, the successor to the original Eclipse, and have added a few improvements over the original. While there’s no LCD, they’ve added multimedia controls, plus a dimmer to change lighting levels (instead of just preset brightness levels), and have also enabled the keyboard to glow either in blue, red, or purple.
The Saitek Eclipse II was one of the best keyboards I’ve used in a while. The combination of a traditional layout, quality construction, and a comfortable typing experience made it a good keyboard by any standard. The addition of a dimmer switch to control lighting, and three different lighting colors, make the Eclipse II even better, and one for any gamer or enthusiast to seriously consider.. ..If you’re in the market for a keyboard that works as well as it looks, then the Eclipse II is for you.
