RightMark Audio Analyzer 5.3 Released

New features of RMAA 5.3 include:
DirectSound mode for testing of 24-bit support on some soundcards (because of drivers of some soundcards have direct hardware access only in DirectSound API and have not direct signal path in standard MME mode)
Please also look at the newest testing instructions for RMAA 5.3 from Creative for Audigy2ZS/Platinum/Platinum Pro. The document is talking about how to measure of Audigy2ZS card series in loopback mode correctly. Go to Download section.
By the way, our own measurements of Audigy2ZS Platinum Pro (as usual with Lynx Two as reference record device) show on DirectSound API even better results: Noise level is now -107.0 dB A (with band limiting AES17 filter 20 Hz to 20 kHz) which is very close to Audigy2ZS Platinum Pro specification (108 dBA SNR).
