The PolarFLO HDD46 is an adaptation of one of our commercial high power electronics cold plates. Specifically designed for high power and high density electronics, the HDD46 will easily cure any heat related issues for your hard disk.
The HDD46 is an extreme duty liquid heat sink, built for
the harshest environments. Our compact (1.40" thin) and high performance
design will give you years of reliable service.
The design uses a Delrin (Acetal) frame with two 1/4" thick copper plates, so there are no dissimilar materials in the contact with the liquid. The massive copper plates are sealed using two heavy duty 1/8" o-rings. The Delrin frame acts a plenum to optimize lateral flow across both copper plates.
The HDD46 is designed to accommodate two 3.5" hard drives. There are many commercial and industrial uses for the HDD46. Our 3d mechanical models can be used for measuring and specification for systems builders.
