Any thoughts that consumers might have had about this new model being a replacement for the Treo 650 were dispelled the moment they saw the “w” in its name. The Treo 700w is Palm’s first attempt at a Windows smartphone, which is a very important move for them, and a product which will make Palm more more accessible to corporate users.
..If you are looking for a Windows Mobile smartphone the Treo 700w [ $300 - $500 ] is a good choice. There is a lot of competition in this market and many of the products feature smoother navigation and a better size, but when it comes to overall power and performance the Treo 700w holds its own.
