OCZ Ultra-Slim 1GB Mini-Kart USB 2.0 Flash Drive review

June 7th 2006 | Storage

The OCZ Mini-Kart looks great and performs quite well. Even though it may not have as fast of performance as the OCZ Rally or other Dual Channel USB flash drives, the miniature size more than makes up for it. Don’t get me wrong, it is not a slow drive by any means.

Geared as being ultra-slim (or just plain ultra-tiny), the Mini-Kart can fit in a wallet or pocket with no added bulk. I’m sorry to say but after using the OCZ Mini-Kart for a couple weeks all other USB flash drives just seem clunky and oversized. Every time I use the Mini-Kart in front of someone, they are amazed at how small it is, and then their eyes get huge when they discover that it holds 1GB (and a 2GB model is even available).

EXTREME Overclocking
