NVIDIA SLI Patch For Any Motherboard

March 2nd 2006 | Graphics Cards

Dying to give SLI a try but don’t have quite the right motherboard? A new patch might give you a sneak peak

A few days ago we reported on the leaked ULi driver patch that enables SLI on any Detonator driver if the patch finds a ULi Northbridge. ULi (ironically now NVIDIA) created the patch to work with existing and future NVIDIA drivers — other similar hacks required the use of ancient drivers to work correctly.

A few people were able to take our advice and create a patcher from the ULi INF files. The result? SLI on any platform, no matter what the chipset (just so long as you have two PEG adaptors).
