NVIDIA: No Probs with Revision E Athlons & nForce3 / nForce4

NVIDIA has denied the Inquirer’s claims that nForce3 and nForce4 might have problems with the new Revision E Athlons. NVIDIA told the INQ that Athlon 64 Rev E has been tested by NVIDIA engineering, AMD test labs and NVIDIA key motherboard partners and none of them managed to find any problems with any nForce3 and nForce4 motherboards.

Although EPoX and ABIT have also confirmed the issue, both manufacturers say it can be fixed at the BIOS level, according to the INQ, and most boards will have new BIOSes by the time Athlon Rev E hits shelves in April anyway.
