NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra Introduced Silently

April 2nd 2007 | nForce 600

NVIDIA is now silently introducing the nForce 650i Ultra, and it should be available shortly. The motherboard will use the same chips as the nForce 650i SLI (C55+MCP51, while the 680i Series uses C55+MCP55) but will be substantially cheaper while the physical layout will only sport one x16 PCI-E slot, compared to the 650i SLI which had two and was capable of running in 2×8 SLI mode.

The nTune release notes for version 5.05.25.00 confirm the product’s existence, and when we asked NVIDIA directly, they told us it will be available for roughly ~£50, so you should expect products to be available in the 70-80€ price range most likely.
