NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition board pictured

NVIDIA was displaying its upcoming nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition motherboard at the [Computex Taipei 2006] show on Intel’s booth. The company had its own little green corner in the massive sea of blue, where it had a system running an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with two NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2s running in Quad SLI on an nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition reference board.

The Intel version of nForce 590 SLI shares virtually the same feature set as the AMD version of the chipset that the company launched on 23rd May.

We managed to grab a couple of shots of the reference motherboard and the system running one and a pair of GeForce 7950 GX2s, but no partners had their own implementations on show…
