NVIDIA Joins Serial ATA II Working Group and Aligns with Other Industry Leaders, Including Intel, to Shape Future Standards in Disk-Interface Technology

(INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM)-SAN JOSE, CA-SEPTEMBER 17, 2003-NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced it has signed on as a key member of the Serial ATA II Working Group, an industry organisation whose mission is to define, develop, and deliver the industry specification for the Serial ATA (Advanced Technology Attachment) interface. As a member of the Serial ATA II working group, NVIDIA joins other leading companies with discrete integrated circuit and core-logic products, including Intel Corporation, to shape and promote next-generation transfer speed technologies.
