NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT graphics card review

April 20th 2006 | Graphics Cards

The GeForce 7900 GT is really just an lower-clocked version of the GeForce 7900 GTX. The GPU itself doesn’t lack any feature that its bigger brother has. All that differentiates it from its bigger brother are the lower core and memory clock speed, as well as the smaller framebuffer and cooler. Since the GeForce 7900 GT doesn’t require as much power as the GeForce 7900 GTX, it’s much easier to run two of these cards in SLI, if you wish to do so.

..Because of its great combination of price, performance, overclockability and power consumption, the NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT is no doubt one of our current favourite cards. In fact, we love it so much we think it deserves our Editor’s Choice Award!
