Graphics Cards
After reviewing the specs and ultimately the scores and price, these video cards are too close to say one is better than the next. I have found one point that might be a factor in deciding which way to go if you are trying to decide what new video card to buy.
The Nvidia based 7800GT can be run in an SLI configuration giving you two times the power and fun, with another 7800GT of course. The x1800xl as of right now can’t. ATI is coming out with the X1800xl mother card to allow you to run it in a Crossfire config. but until then you are stuck with one, but a good one. Ultimately, I would have to say Nvidia 7800GT has the edge out of the two.
