NVIDIA C60 Chipset is Down the Road - P4 IGP Chipset Delayed

August 29th 2005 | NVIDIA

It took Nvidia a while to adopt the Pentium 4 and now the company is offering high end SLI Nforce 4 chipset for Intel only. So far Nvidia hasn’t offered a single low cost product for P4 CPUs.

C60 will be its first step into integrated graphic for P4 and is scheduled to come sometimes in Q4 if not even later. It is Intel’s version of C51 IGP chipset for Athlon and C51 is expected shortly, at last days of Q3 if not in early Q4.

The C60 won’t be there to hit the market and compete the others but will jump in very shortly, you can expect 6200 TC like graphic integrated core and there are strong indications that this chipset will be able to accelerate H.264.
