Nokia 8600 Luna Mobile Phone Review

September 10th 2007 | Phones

The 8600 Luna is a definitive design statement from Nokia, the world’s largest manufacturer of mobile phones. Typically twice the cost and weight (107×45x15.9mm, 140g) of most modern mobile phones, the 8600 Luna is not the type of handset you’ll want to handle carelessly. In fact, after you’ve spent a cool £549 (contract-free) you’ll not want to let it leave the safety of your sweaty palms.

With its distinctive styling, Nokia’s 8600 Luna is sure to turn heads. You’ll love the frosted glass sliding keypad and stainless steel case, and the bright halo and different sets of lights for each of your calls is a brilliant distraction. However, those requiring a good value messaging workhorse for day-to-day duties will be much better served elsewhere. But if you’re looking for the latest fashion icon, it’s sure to please - as long as you don’t need 3G or mind a talktime of just 3.7 hours.
