Games Consoles
Nintendo is looking at launching what its CEO calls "the iTunes of games." Earlier at the Game Developer’s Conference this week, Nintendo’s CEO Satoru Iwata told the press that it plans to offer an online store of downloadable games.
Apparently, Nintendo will be offering its own games that will be playable on its Revolution console, as well as games from its older consoles, games from Sega’s old consoles and games from NEC’s TurboGrafx-16. According to iLounge.com, games for Nintendo’s handhelds and other handhelds such as those for the original GameBoy, GameBoy Advance and even the VirtualBoy will all be playable on the Revolution.
