nForce Professional Emerges at LinuxWorld 2005

BACK IN January, we told you to look out for a big announcement concerning nForce Professional, Quadro SLI and a big system partner in the middle of February. Well, all stories come true in the end, and the kit is showing up in a new system from the Carly-less HP, dubbed the XW9300, which is being unveiled today at the surely-riveting LinuxWorld 2005 conference. nForce Pro offers SLI and PCI-Express functionality for AMD Opteron processors. Nvidia says that it’s double whammy of chipset and graphics tech makes this an "Unmatched" combination in the workstation market.
