MSI’s NX7800GTX-VT2D256E is comparable with its rivals in the market. Its bundled goodies may seem a bit diminished when placed besides formerly more lavish MSI packages but it is still pretty good on its own.
Therefore, the burden of ensuring that MSI’s GeForce 7800 GTX stands out among its competitors falls on its proprietary Dynamic Overclocking Technology, which is an overclocking utility with preset steppings of clock frequencies that should be much welcomed by novice overclockers. This is especially so as the card is covered by MSI for any damages caused by using D.O.T. And generally, it has been most helpful as we were able to reach the maximum D.O.T setting of 473/1320MHz without any fuss. Given the inherent overclocking overhead available in the GeForce 7800 GTX, we think most users should be capable of duplicating our findings.
