MSI – MSI K7N2 & K7N2G-L BIOS v3.3

There’s a new BIOS version 3.3 available at MSI for the K7N2 and K7N2G-L. This also addresses* the VGA BIOS issue (on the K7N2G-ILSR model) described earlier here.

Update Description
- Update VGA BIOS (for K7N2G-L (MS-6570))
- Add “Beep” sound when system boot
- Remove NO CPU option in the BIOS setup vcore item
- Support AMD XP3000+ CPU

Special note:
1. This BIOS is for K7N2 (MS-6570) and K7N2G-L only
2. This BIOS cannot be used on K7N2G-ILSR

Take care when flashing your BIOS. Please post your feedback in the forum.*Olivier has pointed out that that this BIOS only partially resolves the issue – the VGA BIOS is no longer a engineering release but the VGA chip is still recognized as a NV17 and not a NV18.

As mentioned above and in the linked news article, this release ‘addresses’ the issue (also apparent on IGP boards from other manufacturers) and MSI are working on a fix. Sorry for any confusion there.
