A report said an implementation of a system wide content protection scheme in Microsoft Vista will mean many screens will display a "monitor revoked" message.
According to an article in PC World, the scheme called PVP-OPM is intended to stop pirated disks from displaying their content. But a side effect means that the same scheme will lock out displays which don’t support PVP-OPM.
