Microsoft to relaunch Xbox 360 in Japan in June - report

The Xbox 360 is to be relaunched in Japan in late June in response to weak sales of the console, according to a report today which cites sources at Japanese wholesalers and indicates that an announcement of the relaunch could come next week.

The report, which was published by German website GameFront.de, suggests that a press conference being held next week by Microsoft in Japan will be the venue for the announcement of this major change in strategy for the firm.
