A piece of toast with a burn mark which appears to resemble ‘Michael Jackson’ was sold for $36.00USD on eBay last week.

According to the original owner, Don Relyea, his Michael Jackson toast resembles other celebrities too – Brandon Lee, Yoko Ono, Ron Jeremy, Salvador Dali, Janis Joplin, Alice Cooper and Howard Stern. Don’s Blog can be found here.
Celebrity toast oddities regularly pop up on eBay, but most are removed when the bidding reaches the $10,000 mark. Here’s a few recent examples: Britney Spears’ Baby Foot Print which reached $8,114.35, Yoda – at least twice –
reached $11,000 and Jesus Christ got to over $10,000 before being pulled.
Whoever the winning bidder was this time appears to have got him/herself a two-for-one bargain. Not only is there a striking similarity to the ‘King of Pop’, if you look carefully you might also be able to make out Edward Munch’s The Scream…
