Now it is more common to see a computer using a 500 watt power supply than it is than is to see one running a 350 watt PSU. The unit we are reviewing today is another in fine line of computer accessories from MGE and their Extreme Gamer Division, it happens to be their model Vortec 600 Watt PSU. This unit offers enough horse power that it should be able to keep our system running as we put it though our round of tests.
Blood Red and Coal Black what a great color combination for a power supply, looking at the MGE XG Vortec 600 Watt Power Supply is like looking at that girl you Mamma told you to never mess around with but you still could not wait to get to meet her. During our tests, we found the Vortec to be just as hot as it looked and stable like a rock with rail voltages that barely wiggled off their marks.
