I thought I would never give up my MX518 mouse for any other. I was wrong. After a few days of using it constantly, I have grown attached to the G5. I think alot of it has to do with the availability to add weight to it. For I have always liked a heavier mouse. That is the reason I use a battery operated mouse for my daily activities due to the fact that batteries add weigh to the mouse.
The on the fly changing of the DPI is great because during different aspects of the game you can change it. Say you are in an open field environment with several enemies dashing at you, a higher DP may be needed. But now you are in the situation where you looking down a scope or trying to pen point a far away enemy, a lower DPI would be needed. The Logitech G5 is a great mouse for any gamer out there. Give it a whirl you would not regret it.
