Lian-Li PC 6010 & Aquarium Side-Panel

Whilst they’re not exactly ten a penny yet, aluminium cases are becoming more and more popular with both home PC builders and OEM suppliers. Lian-Li were undoubtedly one of the pioneers in this field, but as ever in business it didn’t take long for competitors to spot a good thing. Sure enough more and more manufacturers quickly got their products into the market. Some of these were pretty shoddy affairs, but others rapidly cottoned on and started to turn out cases which were all but a match for the top-end suppliers, often at a very competitive price. This is of course great for us, the end-users, as competition keeps prices at a sane level and drives forward innovation. Said innovations range from the simple but very effective, such as external fan speed controls, to the - how can I put this? Somewhat more cosmetic… And that’s where we’ll be going today.

. . . To wrap things up, the 6010 is everything that you would expect fropm Lian-Li. A well-built, good-looking case with a number of useful features built-in. The aquarium window kit is an add-on you will either love or hate I think; but if it is your idea of a neat case mod then rest assured that it too is well-made, works well, and looks very different into the bargain!
