Choosing a notebook is never easy, but it appears that the people at Lenovo are making it a bit easier on consumers. The Thinkpad is still a great pick for high-end business machines or when your company is paying the bill and the 3000 series is a smart choice for small businesses and as an alternative to companies like HP and Dell. Our testing found the V100 to be a capable system which features solid design and a good size for travel.
Overall it is a 12" notebook that is reasonably light, reasonably small, and offers strong performance considering its component so it is definitely worthy of consideration. If you want the most exciting specifications, cool looks, and ultra light weight, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you want solid specs and an affordable price, the V100 is for you.
