LEADTEK - Leadtek K7NCR18G Pro nForce 2 IGP @ Overclockers NZ

February 3rd 2003 | Hardware

Following their recent review of a Leadtek K7NCR18D-Pro (nForce2 SPP/MCP-T), Overclockers NZ take a look at the IGP-based version (Integrated Graphics Processor) the Leadtek K7NCR18G-Pro (nForcer2 IGP/MCP-T). Anyone thinking of buying this board now and upgrading the graphics with an external graphics card later, will be pleased to see the benchmarks show very little performance difference between the two (when using an external graphics card). Here’s a snippet from the review:

“The Leadtek K7NCR18G-Pro is a perfect choice for system integrators, as it comes with a GF4 MX core, 6-channel sound, 10/100LAN, firewire, and USB2.0. All they need is a CPU, some ram, a HDD to get a system up and running. What else could be easier? It is also a perfect candidate for living room PCs as it comes with TV-Out onboard. Plus, all this can be done without breaking your bank. All in all, a perfect board for the system integrators and living room PC, while keep your wife happy, i.e. without breaking the bank.”
