The iFi is a convergence product designed to deliver the sound quality of a good home audio system from a docked iPod or other audio source in a stylish, compact package with minimal controls. It is usable anywhere in the house where freedom from headphones is desired – from the living room to the bedroom, and anywhere in between.
At $400 list/$300 street, the iFi is the most expensive dedicated iPod audio system on the market. At this price it may not be right for everyone. However, I think that its design and performance make it well worth the price to any serious lover of high quality music… I can enthusiastically recommend that you give it a serious audition if you are in the market for a simple to operate, high-quality, compact home audio system to use with your iPod.
